Note: The Core C.A.R.E. Program was formerly our Adopt-a-Family initiative, originally created to support Sandy Creek Flood survivors after the 2025 Texas flooding. The program has since expanded to serve families and individuals facing hardship year-round.

1 · Purpose

The Core C.A.R.E. Program provides direct, ongoing support to families and individuals in crisis — offering essential supplies, personal mentorship, and a path toward stability through the power of community.

Running April 1 – December 31, the program gives every participant monthly care packages, access to Core mentors, and connections to trusted partners who can help them rebuild with dignity.

Our goal isn’t charity — it’s empowerment through compassion.

We don’t just care — we C.A.R.E.: Community • Assistance • Recovery • Empowerment.

2 · Our Story

The Core C.A.R.E. Program was born from lived experience.

When we lost everything during the white-collar tech recession — jobs, stability, and our home — we spent a month in a cheap motel, wondering if life would ever reset.

What saved us were people who cared.

They didn’t judge. They showed up. They helped us stand again.

This program exists to honor them — and to make sure no one else has to face that darkness alone or feel ashamed for needing help.
