Core Researchers are the Core’s data detectives — the team members who ensure every product or service we provide is accurately priced, properly documented, and ready to be fulfilled.
When a product is missing from our HubSpot database, Core Researchers step in to find the best match. They search trusted retailers and suppliers to identify the correct item, record its market value, and add it to our system. Their work keeps our transparency, Impact Score, and reporting accurate — and ensures families get exactly what they need.
Purpose
To research, document, and maintain accurate product and service data within the Core of Volunteers’ HubSpot system — forming the foundation for fair pricing, transparency, and impact reporting.
Core Responsibilities
- Review assigned tasks or “deals” that require missing products or services.
- Search trusted retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Lowe’s, etc.) for accurate product matches.
- Record retail price, description, and image link for each product.
- Add verified products into the HubSpot Product Database.
- Update the assigned deal ticket and notify the Fulfillment team.
- Verify accuracy by comparing multiple sources when possible.
- Collaborate with the Fulfillment Specialist to move the deal to the next phase.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic online research and price comparison skills.
- Ability to navigate HubSpot’s Products and Deals tools.
- Reliability and communication within assigned deadlines.
