🎃 October: Trunk-O-Treat Car Show & Fall Festival

A family-friendly celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

1 · Purpose

The Trunk-O-Treat Car Show & Fall Festival is the Core of Volunteers’ annual autumn event—a joyful, safe, and imaginative evening that brings families, volunteers, and local businesses together to celebrate the season and strengthen neighborhood trust.

It combines three experiences into one:

Everything is free, inclusive, and designed to make families feel welcome, protected, and connected.

We build trust one smile at a time—and October is when the whole community smiles together.

2 · Event Philosophy

This event embodies the Core’s mission of building community through joy and participation.

While our spring and summer events focus on growth and service, the fall festival reminds everyone that trust can also be built through shared laughter and safe fun.

Children experience generosity first-hand.

Parents experience relief knowing it’s safe.

Volunteers experience purpose in seeing families happy.

Every interaction reinforces the Core’s belief that fun is not separate from service—it is one of its purest forms.
