⚖️ Core of Volunteers — Violations & Disciplinary Policy

Purpose:

To preserve the integrity, trust, and transparency of The Core of Volunteers and its programs — including the Core C.A.R.E. Program, Reentry Allies, and all affiliated initiatives — this policy establishes how complaints, misconduct, and violations are handled consistently, compassionately, and fairly.

We believe in education first, accountability second, and transparency always.

1️⃣ Core Principles

  1. Fairness: Every person deserves to be heard and treated with respect.
  2. Transparency: All disciplinary actions will follow a documented process.
  3. Proof Over Rumor: No member will be penalized based solely on hearsay or gossip.
  4. Protection of Trust: When trust or reputation is threatened by verified misconduct, we will act decisively to protect the community.
  5. Confidentiality: Investigations remain private unless public disclosure is required to defend the organization or prevent harm.

2️⃣ Reporting Violations

3️⃣ Investigation Process

  1. Initial Review — The Program Director reviews the report within 7 days.
