⚖️ Reentry Allies Program — Violations, Misuse & Disciplinary Policy

A second chance comes with shared responsibility.

1️⃣ Purpose

This policy defines how the Core of Volunteers manages violations, misconduct, or misuse of the Reentry Allies Program by either participants or volunteers.

Our goal is to maintain a safe, transparent, and effective environment — not to punish, but to protect trust and ensure that our free, volunteer-driven services remain available to those genuinely committed to change.

Participation in the Reentry Allies Program is a privilege, not a right.

We cannot help everyone, but we will always help those who actively help themselves.

2️⃣ Guiding Principles

  1. Trust First, Verify Always – We start from belief in a person’s potential, but require accountability.
  2. Facts Over Feelings – Decisions are based on verified reports, not rumors or assumptions.
  3. Safety Above All – The safety of volunteers, partners, and other participants is non-negotiable.
  4. Transparency in Action – All warnings, reviews, and removals are documented in the Trust Engine.
  5. Second Chances, Not Endless Chances – We value effort and honesty; repeated misuse shows lack of readiness.
